4gune Business+University aims to promote the connection between academic and professional agents related to smart industry, and to facilitate collaboration to face the current challenges of this strategic field in the Basque Country.
The programme offers, among others:
- Specialised knowledge on the representation of the smart industry in the Basque University System.
- Programmes adapted to specific business or sectorial demands.
- Business advice and creation of tailor-made educational programmes.
- Access for companies to top-level scientific-technological talent in the Basque Country and innovative solutions to their challenges.

Calls
4gune Business+University collaborates with leading companies in the smart industry sector to launch calls for proposals that contribute to the transfer of knowledge between the academic sector and business, and the promotion of talent in the Basque Country.
It currently has 2 challenge-based annual calls:
- 4gune + Siemens Gamesa (energy sector)
- 4gune + Automotive Intelligence Center (automotive sector)

4gune has a virtual community, Gune+, which offers various opportunities for collaboration, events and projects in the Smart Industry sector.
Gune+ helps to connect university centres and companies to participate in the challenges presented by the 4gune Empresa+Universidad calls for proposals, as well as the development of joint projects.
